Rasto Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 October 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between:
• Twift Technologies Private Limited, Flat 103, Sukh Santoshi Apartment, Rani Sati Road, Sikar 332001, Rajasthan, India; and
• Twift Czechia s.r.o., Děčínská 552/1, Střížkov, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic;
together, the “Rasto Group”, “Rasto”, “we”, “us” or “our”, and you, the end-user of our application, website and related features (“you” or “User”).
By creating an account, accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Definitions
1.1 Platform means the Rasto mobile application, the rasto.co website and any related software, features and interfaces.
1.2 Services means functionality that enables you to: (a) fund a transfer order using supported methods; (b) instruct international transfers (including any required conversions); and (c) request withdrawal to supported payout methods. The Services do not provide a wallet or stored-value account.
1.3 Payment Partners means licensed/regulated payment service providers, foreign exchange providers, e-money institutions, card acquirers, settlement networks and other third parties we use to provide or support the Services.
1.4 Transaction means any request you place on the Platform to move, convert or pay out value using the Services.
1.5 Fiat-Referenced Tokens or FRTs means a form of tokenised value issued and transacted on distributed technology infrastructure and designed to maintain a reference to a government-issued currency. FRTs are not legal tender, are not bank deposits and are not issued by Rasto unless expressly stated.Who you contract with; governing law
2.1 If your registered address is in the EEA/UK, you contract with Twift Czechia s.r.o.; if in India, with Twift Technologies Private Limited; otherwise, the contracting entity is shown in-app during onboarding.
2.2 Governing law and courts (without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections):
• EEA/UK Users: Czech law; courts of Prague, Czech Republic.
• India Users: Laws of India; courts of Rajasthan, India.
• Other Users: Czech law; courts of Prague, Czech Republic.Scope of Services; role of Rasto and partners
3.1 We provide the Platform and may provide Services directly or arrange for Payment Partners to do so. In some corridors we act as principal; in others we act as arranger or coordinator. Providers may change at our discretion.
3.2 You place a one-time transfer order; funds are collected for that order, converted if needed (including, where applicable, by using FRTs within the flow), and paid out to your chosen recipient or to your chosen payout method.
3.3 No wallet / no custody. We do not offer a wallet, stored-value account or custody service. Any temporary holding of funds for settlement is performed by Payment Partners, not by Rasto. Any balance figure shown in-app reflects status information, not a deposit with us.
3.4 Rasto is not a bank, does not accept deposits and does not pay interest. Balances are not insured by any deposit insurance scheme.Eligibility; account types; verification
4.1 You must be 18+ and legally permitted to use the Services in your location.
4.2 Account types. The Services are available to individuals and, where we approve, to businesses. Business use may require additional onboarding, documents and terms.
4.3 Verification. We and/or Payment Partners will perform due-diligence checks (KYC/KYB), including document verification, liveness/selfie, proof-of-address, sanctions and adverse-media screening. We may request further information at any time. Access may be limited or refused if checks are not completed or are unsuccessful.
4.4 Accuracy & security. Provide true, accurate and complete information and keep it updated. Keep your credentials and devices secure and enable two-factor authentication where available. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our breach.Funding, transfers and withdrawals
5.1 Funding a transfer order. Use supported methods (for example, bank transfer or card) through Rasto or Payment Partners. Pricing and any fees are shown before you confirm.
5.2 Transfers. You may instruct transfers to supported recipients in supported corridors. Where relevant, conversion may occur (including, where applicable, by means of FRTs within the process). Quotes show the total price or components before you submit.
5.3 Withdrawals. You may request payout to supported methods via Rasto or Payment Partners. Timing and availability depend on destination, compliance checks and local clearing systems.
5.4 Receipts & history. We provide confirmations and a transaction history in-app.Fiat-Referenced Tokens (FRTs) — additional notices
6.1 Where FRTs are used within a Transaction, you acknowledge: (a) Transactions can be irreversible once submitted; (b) reference values and exchange rates may change; (c) laws and partner policies may change; and (d) access can depend on third-party infrastructure.
6.2 FRTs are not legal tender or deposits and are not guaranteed by any government. We do not provide investment advice.Rates, fees, “no-fee” offers, promotions and rewards
7.1 Rates & fees. Exchange rates and fees (including embedded margins) are disclosed before confirmation. Fees are generally non-refundable once a Transaction is submitted. We may change pricing at any time; the price applicable to a Transaction is the one you accept at confirmation.
7.2 Promotions & rewards. From time to time we may offer promotions (e.g., “no-fee” periods, credits, cashback, free transfers, referral rewards). Unless we state otherwise in writing, promotions are discretionary, non-transferable and subject to fair-usage, eligibility, volume and time limits.
7.3 Right to modify/revoke. We may modify, suspend, withhold, claw back or revoke any promotion or reward (including “no-fee” offers) at any time if we reasonably suspect error, misuse, fraud, breach of these Terms, ineligibility, regulatory risk, or to protect Users and the Platform.
7.4 Third-party charges. “No-fee” offers apply only to Rasto’s own fees unless we expressly state otherwise. Third-party fees (e.g., Payment Partner fees, network/rail fees, recipient bank charges) and FX spreads may still apply.
7.5 Errors. If an obvious pricing or promotional error occurs, we may cancel or correct the affected Transaction or reward and, where relevant, refund amounts you paid for the cancelled portion.Limits, reviews, safety checks; our right to cancel or refuse
8.1 Limits. We may apply or adjust limits (per Transaction, daily, monthly or cumulative) based on risk, your profile, regulations and partner policies.
8.2 Reviews & holds. We may place holds, delay processing or request information to review a Transaction (e.g., fraud, compliance, security, technical reasons).
8.3 Cancellation/refusal by us. We may cancel, decline, reverse or suspend any Transaction or access to the Services with or without notice where we reasonably believe it is necessary (e.g., suspected restricted activity, sanctions risk, regulatory request, technical/operational issues, pricing error, partner refusal). If we cancel before completion, we will return funds (where permitted) to the original source net of applicable fees, margins and third-party charges.
8.4 Cancellation by you. You may request cancellation until the Transaction becomes irreversible or paid out. We are not obliged to cancel if processing has reached an irreversible stage.
8.5 Clawback & set-off. If funds are paid out or credited to you or a recipient in error, or are later reversed by a Payment Partner or network, we may recover the amount from you (including by set-off against amounts we owe you) and require prompt repayment.Restricted activities
You must not use the Services for: unlawful activity (including fraud, sanctions violations, money-laundering or terrorist financing); activities involving sexually explicit materials or services, gambling, or the sale/purchase of tobacco, weapons or controlled substances; acting on behalf of another person without approval; bypassing limits, creating multiple accounts, or abusing promotions; providing misleading, incomplete or falsified information; interfering with the Platform (e.g., scraping, reverse engineering, malware); or using anonymising tools to conceal location where prohibited.
Actions we may take: delay, decline, cancel or reverse Transactions; limit functionality; freeze or close accounts; report to authorities; and seek recovery of losses.FX & corridor risks; market disruptions
10.1 FX risk. Currency values and exchange rates fluctuate. The amount a recipient receives or that you can request for payout may differ from earlier estimates.
10.2 Market & corridor events. We may limit or suspend activity in a currency/corridor due to liquidity constraints, market disruption, force majeure, network downtime, partner issues, regulatory change or legal requirement.
10.3 No advice. We do not provide financial, investment or tax advice; you are solely responsible for your decisions.Information sharing with Payment Partners
To onboard you and process Transactions, we may share necessary information with Payment Partners (and they may share with affiliates and subcontractors) for compliance, fraud prevention, processing and regulatory obligations. See our Privacy Policy for details.Refunds and chargebacks
12.1 Refunds. A refund may be possible only if funds have not been paid out or otherwise become irreversible. We may require verification and confirmations from Payment Partners. Approved refunds are returned to the original funding method, net of applicable fees, spreads and third-party charges.
12.2 How to request. Email legal@rasto.co within 14 calendar days of the Transaction with your transfer ID, date, amount, funding method and recipient details.
12.3 Chargebacks (card funding). If you dispute a card payment with your issuer, we may limit your account while the matter is investigated and provide evidence to defend legitimate Transactions. If a chargeback is deemed invalid or fraudulent, you may be liable for related losses and fees.Sanctions, export controls and geographic restrictions
You confirm you are not subject to sanctions and will not use the Services in or for any jurisdiction, person or activity prohibited by applicable sanctions or export-control laws. We may restrict or stop Services in specific locations.Intellectual property and licence
14.1 The Platform (software, design, content and trademarks) is owned by the Rasto Group or its licensors. All rights reserved.
14.2 We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms. You must not copy, frame, mirror, scrape or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our written consent.Privacy and communications
15.1 Privacy. We handle personal data in line with the Rasto Privacy Policy. We act as data controller under the EU/UK GDPR and India’s DPDP Act for relevant processing. To exercise rights or raise concerns, email legal@rasto.co.
15.2 E-sign & notices. You agree to receive communications electronically (email, in-app, SMS, push). Electronic notices meet “in writing” requirements. You can manage marketing preferences; service communications may be necessary for using the Services.Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (including encryption and access controls). No online service is 100% secure. Keep your devices updated and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use or compromise.Third-party services and terms
Links and connections to Payment Partners and other third parties are provided for processing or convenience. Their terms and privacy notices apply to their services. We are not responsible for their content, decisions or availability.Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Platform and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind (express, implied or statutory), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, specific timelines, rate availability, or approval by Payment Partners.Liability limits
19.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages (including loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data).
19.2 Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in that period and (b) USD/EUR 100 (or equivalent).
19.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g., fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).Termination and account closure
20.1 By you. You may close your account any time after settling pending Transactions. Because we do not provide a wallet or stored-value account, any remaining amounts must be processed via supported payout methods.
20.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your account (with or without notice) if we reasonably believe there is a breach, risk, legal requirement, or prohibited activity, or if requested by a Payment Partner or authority.
20.3 Effect. On termination: your right to use the Platform ends; we may retain records as required by law; and sections that by nature should survive (fees due, IP, privacy, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute resolution) continue to apply.Complaints and support
Contact us in-app or email legal@rasto.co with details (what happened, when, amounts, screenshots, requested resolution). We will acknowledge and aim to respond within 15 business days with either a resolution, reasons for rejection, or an alternative proposal. You may also have the right to escalate to a regulator or court as per Section 2.Miscellaneous
22.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy and in-app disclosures form the entire agreement for the Services.
22.2 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign within the Rasto Group or in connection with a reorganisation.
22.3 Severability. If any term is invalid, the remainder remains in force.
22.4 No waiver. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
22.5 Headings. For convenience only.
22.6 Language. If we provide a translation, the English version prevails where permitted by law.Contact
